About SIG
Dipont offers special programs for high achieving learners. Gifted and talented enrichment programs combine advanced courses with cultural, social, and recreational opportunities, and provides gifted students with academic challenges designed to fit their abilities and interests. Through their common studies and daily life, students have the opportunity to make friends with others who share similar abilities and interests.

Dipont offers Chinese academically talented students the opportunity to attend the Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG) in the United States. Founded in 1984, the SIG program only accepts US students at the top five percent in their class to meet the qualification of SIG; other ten percent students who are from the rest of the world also have to pass strict examination and selection. The SIG Program is offered in July and August. Different from other summer programs, SIG, based in well-equipped American top university campuses, provides academically advanced students with an outstanding and challenging educational experience. SIG campuses include: Amherst College, Bryn Mawr College, Emory University, Princeton University, UC Berkeley, UCLA, University of Michigan, University of Texas at Austin, Vassar College. When applying for universities in US, students often refer their SIG experience on their resume as a valuable personal resource.
