High school exchange participants are selected on the basis of
academic achievement, written exams, letters of recommendation
and oral interviews. Dipont works with our American host
organizations to provide pre-departure orientation, including
techniques for adjusting to life in the U.S. as well as
important information on safety and visa compliance. Program
fees include placement in a US host community and school,
insurance, visa fees, orientations, participant risk
management/support. Academic year 07-08 students depart in
mid-August 2007 and return in mid-June 2008.
