Dipont Education Group, formerly named Dipont Consultant Ltd., was first established in Australia in 1990 providing mainly consulting services to Chinese students who wanted to apply for universities in Australia. Soon after its entry into the Chinese market in 1995, it successively established branch companies in Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Chengdu, Xi’an, Shenzhen, Changsha and Wuxi, as well as offices in other countries such as the UK, Canada, Singapore and New Zealand. With regard to meeting the license requirements for ‘going-abroad services agencies’ which have been practiced in China since 2000, 3 branches of the Group (Sichuan Dipont in Chengdu, Hunan Dipont in Changsha and Wuxi Dipont) have obtained licenses for agency services in overseas study from the Ministry of Education and 5 branches, Sichuan Dipont, Chongqing Dipont, Hunan Dipont, Shaanxi Dipont and Shenzhen Dipont, have been granted licenses for agency services in immigration / overseas employment from the Ministry of Public Security.
